Financial Aid

Our mission is to make it financially possible for every qualified applicant to enroll at Georgetown University, ensuring that we recruit and retain a talented and diverse learning community.

Although undocumented students and DACA beneficiaries are not eligible for federal aid, Georgetown University does provide
needbased scholarships to undocumented and DACA-eligible undergraduate students who qualify.

In order to determine scholarship eligibility for undergraduates, please complete the following process:

  1. If you have a valid social security number, complete the most current FAFSA application at fafsa.gov.  If you do not have a valid social security number, move on to step 2
  2. Complete the most current CSS Profile at collegeboard.org (make sure you complete the Domestic version and not the international version).  If you are DACA eligible, please indicate that in the “notes” section of the CSS profile.
  3. If your parents have filed or are planning on filing a 2016 tax return, please upload that document (including all schedules and W-2’s) to the IDOC system at collegeboard.org
  4. One of our financial aid counselors will contact you regarding your financial aid application.  However, if your financial aid package does not come within a few days of your offer of admission—or if you have any questions about this process—please contact our office at http://finaid.georgetown.edu/
